Neocutis

Neocutis Bio-restorative Skin Cream, LUMIERE Bio-restorative Eye Cream and BIO-GEL Bio-restorative Hydrogel are the first and only products to contain PSP®. PSP® provides the most complete and balanced combination of human growth factors and cytokines currently available.

Benefits

Through years of research, physicians discovered fetal skin has a unique ability to heal wounds without scarring. Inspired by this, medical researchers at the University Hospital of Lausanne, Switzerland created a biotechnology process to extract the rich proteins responsible for scarless wound healing from cultured fetal skin cells. A dedicated cell bank was established for developing new skin treatments using a single biopsy of fetal skin. Originally established for wound healing and burn treatments, today this same cell bank also provides a lasting supply of cells for producing NEOCUTIS proprietary skin care ingredient Processed Skin Cell Proteins (PSP®).

Alastin Skincare

ALASTIN Skincare™ is an innovative skincare company dedicated to developing and marketing new, scientifically proven and clinically-tested products that reinvigorate, protect, and maintain healthy skin for a lifetime. The scientists at ALASTIN Skincare™ have developed a proprietary line of procedure enhancement products designed specifically for plastic surgeons and dermatologists.

The first ALASTIN Skincare™ product line is formulated to enhance the efficacy of both ablative (deep-penetrating) and non-ablative (surface) skin rejuvenating procedures (e.g. laser resurfacing, peels, micro-needling, IPL, surgical procedures, etc.). ALASTIN Skincare™ products prepare and increase skin receptivity to the procedure while enhancing the healing process to optimize the overall procedure result.

In human histological studies, ALASTIN Skincare™ products have shown enhancement in the deposition of both elastin and collagen and the initiation of extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling and recycling. No other skincare line has demonstrated such a significant level of enhancement in elastin production in the skin via biopsy.

As a first-in-class system for procedural skin preparation, healing, and maintenance, ALASTIN Skincare™ procedural enhancement kits offer a solution to healthcare providers wishing to deliver faster, better, longer-lasting results for their aesthetic patients while improving their procedural margins.

Cosmelan

There is an effective new treatment for melasma and chloasma, also known as the mask of pregnancy and hyperpigmentation due to hormones, including acne scarring. This innovative new treatment is called Cosmelan®.

Frequently Asked Questions Cosmelan Skincare Products

What is melasma?

Melasma is a skin condition presenting as brown patches on the face of adults. Both sides of the face are usually affected. The most common sites of involvement are the cheeks, bridge of nose, forehead, and upper lip.

What causes melasma?

The precise cause of melasma is unknown. People with a family history of melasma are more likely to develop melasma themselves. A change in hormonal status may trigger melasma. It is commonly associated with pregnancy and called chloasma, or the 'mask of pregnancy.' Birth control pills may also cause melasma, as well as hormone replacement therapy used after menopause.

What is Cosmelan?

Cosmelan is a depigmentation treatment based on the inhibition of tyrosinase, a basic enzyme in the melanin formation process. Several substances in the Cosmelan formula act by blocking this enzyme or even inverting the metabolic process of the transformation chain. Its principal action is the elimination of melanin patches on the face (melasma and chloasma).

What are the advantages of Cosmelan?

The Cosmelan depigmentation treatment offers several major advantages and benefits compared with other depigmentation products on the market:

  • Very effective in all types of melasma
  • Rapid and easy depigmenting action
  • Compatible with ALL skin types (Fitzpatrick I – VI)
  • Light peeling effect
  • Rejuvenates the skin
  • Treatment can be used year-round
  • Beneficial for acne patients
  • Does not contain TCA
  • High safety margin

What results can I expect after using Cosmelan?

In 99% of cases, blemishes improve by 95% after just one week of starting Cosmelan depigmentation treatment. A noticeable and significant improvement in the skin is observed, with the treated blemish fading and the appearance of new luminous and rejuvenated skin. By the end of the treatment, the blemishes will have disappeared, and while the patient may be able to 'locate' where the spot was, the pigmentation will have vanished, and it will not be visible to others.
